Our relationship with Betty is the engagement of her great-grandson, Chris, to our granddaughter, Stephanie Cole. Since our first meeting with Betty we both have been very fond of her and enjoyed all the occasions we were with her. She was very sharp at new things. On one of her visits to our home she never hesitated in joining in to play a new game to her, Fast Track, and enjoyed it. You could see that the love and care that she showed her family was returned to her by them in her final years which was a great reward. Chris and Robert couldn't have loved her more and it was always nice to see how caring they were with her. Betty left a wonderful impression on everyone and we will miss her. Our sympathy to all the family on their loss. Shirley and Jim Thorpe

It was an honor to know Betty even though it wasn't for very many years. She was such a warm and wonderful person and always had her beautiful smile on. We will miss seeing her at the Cole's and Larkin's get-togethers. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this most difficult time.

Betty was one of those people who no matter what walk of life you came from as soon as you were in the room with her.....she was Grandma. She made everyone always feel at ease and always had a kind word and thought for all. She had a unique knack of making a person feel good about themselves no matter what the circumstances were. She will be very missed by many. I can't remember ever meeting someone who knew her that did not adore her. Great job Betty, Your great grandsons (my nephews) are my pride and joy. What a wonderful legacy you left. Rest in peace.
