Russ was one of the finest people I have ever met. We have been friends since I was 16. My memories range from going to the Shore in the MG with Fran and Russ and walking the boardwalk to trips out west where we were able to spend a few days at my cabin and fish. He was kind, loving and gave to his community and friends. It isn't fun to check my emails without his many emails that he sent everyday. It is hard to put into words what I feel for Fran and Russ. They both have been such a part of my life. I love them both dearly and can't talk of one without the other. So forgive me, Fran, when I mention you, too. I love you, Russ, and I will always carry your friendship with me. There is a prayer that I say and I will include it: The light of God surrounds us. The love of God enfolds us. The power of God protects us. The presence of God watches over us. Wherever we are God is, and all is well. Know that even though I can't be there with you, L love you all. Love, Joan
