Obituary of Alice Simons

Alice Simons, 97, of Freehold Township went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. Simons was born in Worchester, Mass. She was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Simons was a member of the Evangelical Baptist Church, Freehold Township. Her husband, Charles Simons, died in 1994. Surviving are two sons, Charles Raymond Simons and his wife Ellen, Port St. Lucie, Florida and Donald Simons, East Brunswick; three daughters, Carol Christer, Freehold Township, Irene Grabowski and her husband Frank, Sun City, Arizona, and Nancy Olson-Hilton and husband Stephen D. Hilton, Corona, California; a sister, Louise Krukowski, Red Oak, Virginia; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. followed by entombment at Holmdel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Keswick Colony of Mercy, 601 Pinewald Keswick Road, Whiting, NJ 08759 or Evangelical Baptist Church, 108 Waterworks Road, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
