Dear Carol & family - So sorry to receive this news late in the game... What can I say...but Alice was a trooper to the end...as last time I recall seeing her in the medi center she could hardly hear, and barely see...but she was sharp in her mind and heart towards Jesus her LORD. She was on my heart the last couple of weeks....and I was praying for her as she came to mind. We recall how great you were with your Mom right to the end...great example of faithfulness. She leaves behind many that were touched by her life...I can still see her in my mind singing the hymns and worshipping our Lord the one she loved! 97 years wow! To God be the glory for the life she lived! Psa 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints. May our LORD comfort you during this time. In our prayers - Love in Christ, Joe & Nancy Della Vecchia

Such a wonderful inspiration of a Christian woman. Grandma Alice taught us all how to love unconditionally. We are saddened that she will not be here on earth for us but so excited she can see all of the beauty of heaven and is dancing and praising The King of Kings in his presence. Love you Grandma Alice we will all be together again soon.

An amazing woman with a life worth celebrating. Grandma Alice always had endless patience with my myriad of questions. From a faith standpoint, she pointed me to Jesus with a simple answer on why she didn't go to confession. "I can go directly to God because of Jesus". I was soooo jealous. :)She also taught me to never be afraid of things seen or unseen. The only power anything has over us is what we give it. When asked about Pop-pop and the first time she remembered seeing him, she replied, "Well, the first time he really saw me was when I wore my swimsuit on the way to the swimming hole". When asked about an historical event she remembered, she replied, "My world stopped for a few minutes when I heard FDR died, I thought the world would end .. It didn't, God was still in control." Thank you Grandma for the lessons and love you shared with me. Thank you for always answering honestly. I especially enjoyed our trip around Az. Every time I see the Painted Desert,I too will always see Neapolitan ice cream.

Rest in Peace Alice.....You will forever be missed by the many lives you touched. A great woman you were, you will be missed... God saw you getting tired A cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you And whispered, ""Come with Me."" With tearful eyes everyone watched you And saw you fade away. Although everyone loved you dearly no one could make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating Your beautiful heart at rest. God took you home to prove to everyone He only takes the best.

How fitting that sister Alice would be "promoted to glory" and enter her Lord's presence on the Lord's Day! Her faith has now been made sight as she embarks on an eternity of worshiping the Lord who loved her and gave Himself up for her, Gal. 2:20!
