Obituary of Margaret A. Connelly

Margaret A. Connelly, 77, of Freehold Township passed away at home on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was born in Jersey City and had resided in Freehold for over 55 years. Mrs. Connelly was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. She was a benefits supervisor for International Vitamin Corporation, Freehold Township for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a well-known waitress and hostess at Federici’s, Freehold for over 30 years. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Agnes Walsh Hauser, and two brothers, George and Richard Hauser. Surviving are her children, Kelly Infanti and husband Mark, Michael J. Connelly, Jr., Lorraine McGackin, John P. Connelly, and Timothy Connelly; three sisters, Kathleen Sakoutis and husband John, Joanne VandeMark, and Nancy Hauser; 22 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and her best friend of 63 years, Sharon Pressey. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
