Walt was always the life of any gathering. His wit is legendary. A calm man. Like his mother's, his eyes were always sparkling. Never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He enjoyed his life with Jan by his side. I've known Walt since our junior year of high school. He was the first to post a tribute on the Memorial page when my husband, George, passed away in March. He sent condolences when my mother passed away earlier this month. We kept in touch via e-mails. He'll be so missed by everyone who was blessed to know him. My heart goes out to Jan and his son. I was proud to call him a friend.
