I was Absolutely Devastated to hear of Lugenia's Passing. She started out as My Neighbor and became one of My Best Friends. I miss her Smile and her laugh which was Contagious!!! I miss watching Tennis with her, I miss sitting outside and People Watching. But most of all I miss Dancing around her living room to Fireball by Pit bull (her Favorite Song). Although it has been a lifetime (50+ years) since I have seen Mrs. Jefferson, I remember still how kind and lovely she was. I was one of a group of young clerks, probably all in our "first" jobs, who worked at the beautiful main branch of the New York Public Library. She was one of our supervisors and we all loved her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
