Leonard was in my graduating class from Hancock Central School, Hancock, NY. 1958.
He was a fun guy and well liked by all.
Leonard was with me and a couple other classmates the night of graduation when we went to Roscoe, NY to drink and celebrate. We were young and foolish, but thankfully returned to Hancock safely.
RIP Leonard. Enjoyed being your friend.
So sorry to all the family. My heartfelt sympathy. Nancy Powell Bulger

Dad was the kindest soul and truly brought smiles to everyone that met him. His humor was off color at times, but he never took him self too seriously. Dad helped anyone who needed it and was a faithful servant living the word through action. He was a proud Army veteran and remained involved with the American Legion. He may have left New York for Georgia in the 90’s, but New York never left him. He was proud to be from Long Island and would let anyone who asked about his accent know that he was a New Yorker! My sister Jennifer Bongers Reed and myself held his hands and looked into his eyes as he took his last breath. We both know that his suffering is over and he is feasting on Sauerbraten, Ham, Turkey and Potato Pancakes prepared at the largest table—likely by my Grandmother.
