Obituary of Frederick Franklin Peterson

Fred Peterson, 85 of Forked River, NJ, passed away Jan. 6, 2022. He lived in Forked River for over 40 years, retiring from Jersey Central Power and Light in 1994. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Alta, three daughters, Deborah, West Virginia, Beverly, South Carolina, and Diane, New Jersey, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery.
