Last Saturday I lost my wonderful grandmother Abigail Cirilo. She was one of the most fierce, loving, sweet, and special persons this world has ever had the privilege to have on Earth. She was a fighter til her last breath. She was a great grandmother and an even better mother to my own mother. She is now with her heavenly father and husband and son. I guarentee she is cooking the best Puerto Rican food, dancing, and taking no grief. I love you Mama. I thought I'd have you til 100, but God needed you early. My faith has assured me we will meet again, just not yet. I still have work on this earth and I know you'll be watching me.
I love you Mama, now rest and feel no more pain.

Titi Abigail was an excellent Mother, Grandmother, aunt, and, friend, she always gave 100 percent to her family and everyone she knew we the Figueroa Torres family were and have been grateful of the many things she did for us.

We were privileged and blessed to meet Ms. Aby, as we called her. She was the sweetest lady we knew! she told us many stories about her family. She had a special love for her daughter Milagritos and a special love for John, Emerita and Héctor. She was worried about them. She loved to cook and share her food with others. I know that Heavenly Father has a special place for her. I am sure that we will meet her again, I do not know if I will recognize her since she will be in her best moments, young, healthy and beautiful! Asta vernos con el Rey Aby! we love you! ❣️

Tia Bigo
Who was she?
She was a caring mother, wife, sister, aunt, and neighbor.
She was known for her generosity.
Tia was a great cook!
Cooking was a creative process.
Her cooking spared no ingredients.
Neighbors knew when Tia was in the kitchen.
She made the best cafe in town!
Tia was rooted in her religious fate.
She turned to it for spiritual support.
Known as the natural horticulturalist.
Tia loved plants and had many.
She had a magical green thumb.
We understand you had to leave us.
Our hearts are saddened but not
empty of our love for you.

My grandmother ment the world to me. She raised me since I was 5 years old. She was both my mom, dad and best friend for many years. My grandmother was they only one who loved me unconditionally. No matter what trouble I got myself into or problem that was a bit to much to handle, my grandmother would always be there to comfort me and reassure me that everything was going to be ok. It was an honor and a privilege to take care of my grandmother for the last 26 years of her life. I told her that I would never leave her side and that I would be with her until they end and I fulfilled my promise. My grandmother truly meant the world to me. I can't explain in enough detail what mama meant to me and how her passing away has effected me greatly. I miss mama so much and for the first time in my life, feel truly heartbroken. I will never forget you mama. I miss and love you so much. Please go be with my father, grandfather and all of our family up in heaven. You can finally be at peace and not suffer anymore mama. I will always love you and I miss you so much. Rest in peace mama. You are now an angle in heaven, looking down on our entire family. I will never forget you mama.

My Madrina Abigail-Cirilo was a source of strength and love for me. Always present no matter the occasions. She always had little presents for me . We would speak on the phone if she was in California, Florida with her sister, in New Jersey. Always a call to let me know where she was if I needed her. I will miss our calls and visits so much. My best memory was when my godmother would come to the Bronx so I could spend the weekend with the family. We would ride the Third Avenue L in the front car so I could see the huge statue at the corner before the train turned. I have such great memories of Millie , Junior and Emerita they also were good to me . They will always have me around.Madrina you will live in my heart and soul forever. Bendicion te quiero mucho. Say hello to padrino and Junior for me .

Dear Grandma-Nana, I want to explain how much I love and miss you through this passage but words can never truly explain how much you mean to myself and all the loved ones around you. Mama with you gone I will never be the same. Ma I will always carry you with me and my kids will always know from the most amazing great grandmother you were to them how blessed they were . Abigail was an inspiration to us all ,she was loving and well like by those that had the pleasure of meeting her and her strength and faith in God was transcended in her personality she was humanitarian and gave to those less fortunate and in need. Me
and my family will have her in our memories for ever. God bless her and her whole family as she will be terribly missed, but she is now resting and together with those that departed before her and and looking down on those that are still here and helping and
