I met Sheryl when I was 14 years young. She frequented the Howell Dunkin' Donuts once located at Rt.9 and Alexander Avenue. Many fond memories and laughs there. Many years later she became my customer for routine well water maintenance. We became friends. She was a wonderful person. She enjoyed a private Christmas caroling concert in her home from my daughter, a friend and me severely years ago. She loved nature and foxes in particular. I enjoyed her bright Cheshire smile and her distinctive laugh. I miss her deeply and my sincerest condolences are with all that loved and cared for Sheryl.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Sheryl at the Southard Grange around 2010 amongst the many musicians that would gather on Tuesday evenings. She was very friendly and caring, a very genuine person that I enjoyed in person and on social media. She posted a lot of great pictures as well as sharing funny posts. Sheryl soars with the Angels now and is the sunrise and sunset of each day foward. My condolences to her family.

Once upon a time I was walking in the woods to find some ospreys to take pictures of. I crossed paths with a photographer, wading in the Manasquan Reservoir to get a better picture. I immediately admired her dedication to capturing the best image she could. I don't think I am ever quite committed enough to go back to my car wet and muddy for an osprey picture. Soon after I was introduced to a third photographer that enjoyed wildlife photography as much as we did. The three of us spent so many hours over many years photographing wildlife together, waiting for eagles or osprey to fly by. Some great osprey nests at the reservoir, so many hours, so many pictures. So many trips to conowingo for bald eagles where we made many new photographer friends. Sunrises, shorebirds. Looking for anything to photograph. If we were bored after hours of waiting even seagulls would do. So many good times. Horseback riding with tux and try. I am grateful for every minute of it, but we lost you way too soon. Rest in peace my friend, thank you.

My wife and I send our prayers and deepest condolences to the family and all of Sher's many friends. Our friendship with Sher came out of our mutual love for horses and appreciation for the beauty of life. We met on FB and Unfortunately we never actually got the chance to meet up in person. We shared so much commonality, especially because we share of love of "people". It's so hard to watch someone you've gotten to know to love go through what she had to endure. Such a helpless feeling. We all clung to our faith and its with her faith that I know she's in a beautiful place today, in awe of the splendor in heaven. I'm sure there are many cardinals and horses in paradise, and beaches too. We were heartbroken to read of her passing and her obituary. So many friends are fighting cancer right now its heartbreaking and numbing. This is the first time I am able to post about this. My wife and I took this news pretty hard as Sher shared with so many of us her journey. When she posted that there was nothing they could do, we wept and prayed. Sher...your infectious positivity and spirit will be greatly missed. The world loses a lot when a person like you passes. Although we never did "get together" in person, I know that it would have been a great time. But as a jockey friend of mine said to me once, although we don't see each other again on earth, our common faith tells us that we will meet again. "Here, there or in the air" is the saying...Til we meet in heaven, rest in peace dear friend. Our deepest condolences. Bobby and Lisa

To my beautiful sister Sheryl . I remember standing in front of your 2 grade class waving to you. I was so proud to tell all my friends you are my big sister. The time flew by so fast. We certainly had some growing pains through the years. We also had the most amazing love . You had my back from the start . You will in my heart forever ! I will always have a piece of you and you took a piece of me with you to heaven. Together forever your heart and mine . I love so very much . Till we meet again sis.

To my buddy,
We met at the Manasquan Reservoir the morning of October 13, 2007. I still remember the scene; you were walking out of the woods, clutching a giant 600mm lens and your tripod dragging behind you. I offered to help and at first you were hesitant but you handed me your tripod and I walked you to your car. We spoke in the parking lot for a few minutes about camera filters, exchanged Flickr contact information, and went on our ways.
I had no idea at the time that chance meeting would become one of the best friendships I have ever been blessed to have.
I will miss our many photo adventures, lunches at the Chapter House, lying to you about how many bridges we'd have to drive over to get somewhere, finishing all of your Corona's that you never drank, laughing, joking, and just being the goofballs that we were. But mostly, I will miss our conversations, the days spent sitting on the couch watching TV, your friendly hugs, and just simply being in your company.
Thank you for 14 years of beautiful friendship, Angel Sher. Thank you for everything. I look forward to meeting again in Gods Kingdom and I hope you're standing there at the pearly gates waiting for me with your 600mm lens and tripod when I arrive.

Although we never met in person, "Angel" Sher became such a wonderful friend through our mutual love for photography on Flickr.com many many years ago. She was "Angel Sher" on earth and now she's a beautiful Angel in heaven. I will miss you so much my sweet friend..
