Norman Wexler

Obituary of Norman Wexler

Norman G. Wexler, aged 78, lost his battle with cancer quietly at home on Sunday, June 21, 2020. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and worked as a printer until his retirement. Norman was an avid baseball fan, cheering on his beloved New York Mets, and enjoyed fall sports watching the New York Giants play. He was one of the first full season ticket holders for the Lakewood BlueClaws minor league baseball team, missing only a handful of games throughout their 20 seasons. Norman’s love of antique cars led him to attending car shows with his prized possessions. Norman was predeceased by his parents, Nathan and Sylvia Wexler, and a brother-in-law, Paul Kalin. Norman will be greatly missed, but will be forever in their hearts, by his family members, brother, Arnold Wexler; sister-in-law, Sheila Wexler; sister, Carol Kalin; nieces and nephews, Ivy Jegou, Greg Jegou, Stacy Wexler, Howard Wexler, Lisa Marrin and Eric Kalin; great nieces and nephews, Matthew Jegou, Amanda Jegou, Ashley Jegou, Jake Wexler, Jessica, Alli, Haley and Zachary; son, Gregg Wexler; daughter, Shari Wexler; as well as many friends, some who have known him since high school and others who shared his love of baseball, football and antique cars. Norman, you now have the best seat in the house at the baseball park. Have a beer on us! Funeral services are private.
