"Aunt Ginny" was my mother's first cousin. I am sadden to find out today that she has passed.
I last talked to her on the phone just a few weeks before her passing. She was concerned about my family and so supportive.
I'll will always treasure the fantastic memories of when I went to NYC with her and her family. It truely was a fun day!
I also fell in love with a painting of of hers of a little girl in a field and told her so. She then told me it was a self portrait.
She was such a fun spirted person and I miss her.
Ginny was one of my favorite residents at Applewood. She was the sweetest out of everyone I know there. I thought of her as a grandmother figure. I always consoled her when her dear friend Ruth passed away. I will always remember her smile when I received my appreciation check and she would be the first I would give a hug to when I thanked the residents who were apart of it especially Ginny. I will always keep her in my heart
