I remember riding with my Uncle Frank from East Stroudsburg, Pa. to Marlboro, NJ to the elementary school on Rt 79 for a teaching position. I was all about 11yrs old . I remembered how long the ride had been. But it was enjoyable just hanging out with Uncle Frank. Oh yeah , he got the job . Such a great man. You will be very missed. R.I.P.

You were my 7th grade teacher at Marlboro Central School back in 1960....We had the best class with the best teacher who would make us laugh and want to learn...I remember this one boy, Chris, who was ALWAYS causing problems and Mr. Black made him sit next to His desk - I was right behind him (I talked too much)...One morning, we were all sitting quietly in our seats - Mr. Black was writing something on the chalk board, when we heard this noise - cluck cluck cluck...Mr. Black turned around to face the class and said "what IS that noise???? " No one answered and then we heard it again - this time a chicken stuck his head up through the hole in the Chris' desk (we had old desks that had holes in them for ink wells) ...I never forgot the look on your face when that chicken stuck his head up through that hole....clucking the whole time.....the class went hysterical. This was the funniest memory I ever had all those years of school...I think of it often and it makes me smile and I think of you....Rest in Peace and God Bless you Mr Black
