My deepest sympathy and condolences, I pray that God makes his presence known to bring you comfort during this difficult time. I wish I could be with you to celebrate George’s life, he was a wonderful uncle. I uploaded a few pictures from the archives, and will be praying for all of you. George and I were both blessed with a love for music, and I have this picture of him in my head like it was yesterday. George, my mother (Bobbie) and I went to see Stan Kenton’s Jazz Band sometime in the 80’s. He never took his seat with us, and when I asked, my mother had little concern saying “Oh he’s around, that’s my brother”. I finally spotted him midway through the second song, somehow he had worked his way up and was standing right next to the stage. There was Uncle George, rolling his head to the music keeping time with his hands drumming on the edge of the stage. Wow! Love always – Greg Schmidt

Mr. Siver was a great man with a warm smile and laugh. All of his children smile often and that says something about him too. He made this world a better place and will be missed. Sending my love to the extended Siver family. Thinking of you all and especially of Mrs. Siver.
