Obituary of Patrick M. Collins

Patrick M. Collins, 62, of Freehold Township died on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at home. He was born in Neptune Township and had resided in the Freehold area all his life. He was a lieutenant in the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, Freehold before his retirement after 35 years of service. He was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School, Freehold and Freehold High School. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Marjorie Collins; a brother, Gregory Collins; and a sister, Constance Clark. Surviving are his children, Amanda Collins, Kyle Collins, Bryan Collins, and Sean Collins and his wife Brittney; a brother, Joseph Collins and his wife Judith; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Collins. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu flowers memorial donations to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, K-9 Fund, 2500 Kozlowski Road, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
