Obituary of Ronald Edward Gonzalez

Ronald Edward Gonzalez, 48, of Freehold passed away peacefully Friday, July 13, 2018 at Hackensack University Medical Center with his family by his side. He was a lifelong resident of Freehold. He graduated from St. Rose of Lima Grammar School, Freehold Borough High School (‘88), and Brookdale Community College (’90). He was involved in Boy Scouts through his youth and teen years, received his rank of Eagle Scout in 1987, and received two Eagle Palms. Ron was Director for KMB Design Group in Wall Township. Ron is survived by his mother and father, Mary and Ramon Gonzalez, Jr., Freehold; his brother Ramon Gonzalez III and Trina, Richardson, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Marysue and Robert Vang, Freehold; brother Stephen Gonzalez, Freehold; nieces, Kitura, Tiffany, Karina and Sarah; nephew, Nelson; and many great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold on Tuesday July 17, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 18 at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold at 10am followed by burial at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in Ronald’s name.
