For my dear friends, the Gonzalez family, I have known you all for 41 years when we met at St. Rose. Ronnie was a wonderful little one, a great older child & then grew into an amazing man. Even tho I never really did much w/ him as he got older. Mary & I did many things together, going to my beloved Lancaster, staying over, shopping, etc. She was a vibrant woman in her day & then was stricken w/ Parkinson's & me w/ MS among other things. Ron was a very good son & good worker, we spoke of him all the time. He was also a groomsman at my son's wedding 20 years ago. They were in Boy scouts together & rose to the ranks of Eagle Scout. They went to Forestburgh every summer & some winter overnights too. Whitewater rafting, Boy scout events were the best.....My condolences to the entire Gonzalez family. May Ronnie give you all very good remembrances to make the sadness subside. Death is something that causes much pain, one can never really get over. You just learn to deal w/ it....Love forever, Ree* (Larkin) Kamenitz

To the Gonzalez family, and all who were closest with Ron. I had attended St Rose grammar school from Kindergarten through 8th grade, with Ron, and he was a great guy. I had the privilege of running in to him in Freehold about two and a half years ago and had the chance to talk with him for some time. That was really a great blessing, in retrospect. It was very sad to hear of Ron's passing, but as probably all who knew him, it was a pleasure to have known him and have good memories of him. Ron was a man of character and was a hard worker, smart, and just plain great. Please be assured of my thoughts and prayers for the repose of his soul, and for his family and friends who knew him best, and miss him most. My sincere condolences. Peace to you all. -Darin J. Byrne, Winchester, VA - formerly of Freehold

Ron was one of my best friends ever since high school. I remember the call when he advised me he had leukemia and we spoke for two hours thereafter. Some sad conversations, but at the same time many positive/funny memories were discussed. He had such a positive attitude with the determination to beat this and no matter what he told me he was going to fight until the end. And he did just that! To the Gonzalez Family and everyone one of Ron's friends - no matter what life throws at you do as Ron would have done: face it, deal with it, and most of all never-give-up! With sincere condolences, Tom & Jodi Cheatle

So saddened by the news of Ron's passing. It has been a long while since our paths last crossed, but I have so many great memories of him from back in our high school days and the years that followed. Always a fun-loving guy, a true gentlemen and a great friend. My thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with the Gonzalez family. May you find joy in your memory of Ron and peace and comfort from our loving God who knows your hurt and says to "cast all your anxieties upon Him because He cares for you". 1 Pet. 5:7. With deepest sympathy, Greg Petroff
