Obituary of Theresa Ann Dinkel

Theresa Ann "Terri" (Francz) Dinkel Howell, New Jersey Terri passed away on May 23, 2018 at 55. She was born on November 11, 1962 in Somers Point, NJ to Patricia and Curtis Francz. She grew up in and attended school in Mays Landing where she graduated from Oakcrest High School, class of '81. She later moved to Howell upon marrying Dave Dinkel on February 18, 1989. They were blessed with two daughters, Ashley and Melissa Dinkel. Terri spent many years enjoying activities with her girls. Dance, Girl Scouts, arts and crafts, and many family vacations gave her joy. She loved her career working as a construction inspector, most recently at Center State Engineering in Monroe where her coworkers became a second family. Terri will be remembered as a loving wife, nurturing mother, caring daughter, loyal sister and good friend to many. Her courage, strength, and faith will live on as an inspiration to all fortunate enough to have known her. Terri is predeceased by her father, Curtis Francz. She is survived by her husband, Dave; daughters, Ashley and Melissa; mother, Patricia Francz; brothers, Steve, Will, and Curt Francz; mother in-law, Julie Dinkel; and many well loved family members and special friends. The family would like to warmly thank all of the wonderful and caring medical professionals who have become friends throughout her battle. Her viewing will be held Tuesday, 5/29, from 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, 6/2, at 10:30 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy., Mays Landing. The family would like to invite everyone to come celebrate Terri's colorful life. She had commented in the past that funeral attire can be morbid. Visitors may dress as they please, but brighter colors are not discouraged. In lieu of flowers, Terri requested that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
