Terri was my cousin, just a few years older than me. I hadn't seen her or her family for many years. When we were younger I used to see her every summer, when my family came to visit from Florida. Terri was always so good to me and oink of took me under her wing. I loved her strong, though sensitive personality. Her sarcastic sense of humor was wonderful. I have many fun memories of sitting around our grandparents kitchen table. I loved being around my Aunt Pat and Terri and the boys. I loved the openness and close down to earth way they had together. Terri, you are loved so much and will be greatly missed, but I do believe that one day we will be together again, this time sitting around the Lord's table and still laughing like old times. Keep a seat for us, Cuz! I love you all and my sympathy and prayers are with all of the family. God bless you all and give you peace during this time and always. Love, Angela DeClementi DeMatteis

Tammi Smyth posted a condolence

Terri and I were childhood friends. I spent quite a bit of time in her family's home when I was young. I remember having dinner with the family. Her Mom sometimes babysat for my sisters and I. In 7th or 8th grade during gym class, I wasn't paying attention to the teacher. She was calling "Sara", which is one of my sister's names, and had I been paying attention, I would have realized that she meant me and I would have responded and not corrected her. As I was not paying attention, she got agitated and began to raise her voice, still calling out to "Sara". Terri was standing next to me, we had known each other our whole lives and she sort of looked out for me, being slightly older. I was very shy. Terri raised her hand and stated to the teacher "There is no one in this class named "Sara". The teacher looked at her then looked at me, who by now realized that she had been trying to get MY attention and then she calmly apologized, called me by my own name and asked to me to whatever it was that she had wanted in the first place. That teacher never again called me by my sister's name. Thanks to Terri, I wasn't just one of those "Senf" girls, I was Tammi! Terri always made me laugh. It was sad that we grew apart as people sometimes do as time passes, we age and move away to begin families of our own. I will never forget her friendship.

I worked with Terri at Birdsall Engineering. She was a lovely person, so proud of her daughters school work and their involvement with Girl Scouts. My prayers and deepest sympathies to her family. Rochelle Trembly Toms River, NJ
