Dear Barbara You enjoyed my visits with my little black poodle Max before I left Manalapan as your neighbor of 26 years. Max left us last October 2017 and went over rainbow bridge. Little Max along with your loving husband Ed were there to meet you on May 19 2018. May your family be Blessed and your Heavenly Rewards be great. God Bless the Marino’s....Charlie and Jean and boys

My fondest memories of Aunt Bobbie are from when I was a little girl. Often my brother and I would spend time at my grandparents' house in Staten Island. As a young woman, Aunt Bobbie lived there, too. She was a secretary in New York City and I remember watching her get ready in the mornings before she left. She was so beautiful! she would take me with her to do errands in her black Chevy with the tan upholstery . I loved being with her and she made me feel special. Sometimes on weekends she would come to our house with Uncle Vito. We were always so excited when they came. Aunt Bobbie was so funny and I loved to hear her laugh! We all missed Aunt Bobbie when she and Ed moved to San Diego . She would often write letters and our mom, Connie, would read them to us. Once they drove up a mountain and it was sunny but when they drove down the other side it was raining. She loved California but missed her family. I still have two stuffed toys and a snow globe from the San Diego Zoo she sent me-fond memories I couldn't let go... Words to describe her-kind, funny, loving, hard working Eddie, Greg and Stephen were lucky to have her as their mom

I have to share just how much joy Cardinals brought to this lovely lady. As soon as one would show up, "Look, look! there he is!" I would tell her that they are coming to see you honey. The squirrels made her laugh too! She truly did love animals, birds and her gardens. I feel so honored to have gotten the chance to get to know her better in this last year. What a lovely lady, strong willed, but a truly lovely lady. I will miss her smile of happy greeting when people came through her door. Love you honey <3, with love from Beth Hoffmann Applegate and family
