Joan, you were a second mom to me during my childhood. My happiest memories involve spending time at the Doherty house. I often think back to times spent sleeping over, dancing with you, my mother, Cindy, Janet, and others. You included me in so many things - and I have always been so thankful. I have been through so much over the years, been around the world, fought in a war, raised a family, and more - and nothing compares to the childhood memories you helped shape. I love you and I hope to dance with you again someday.
