Obituary of Mary D. Boguslawski

Mary D. Boguslawski, 87, of Lakewood, formerly of Freehold, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Care One at Jackson, Jackson township. She was born in Jersey City and had resided there before moving to Freehold. Mrs. Boguslawski was a service clerk for ShopRite, Freehold for 18 years before her retirement in 2007. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and St. Dominic’s Church, Brick and a member of the Freehold Township Senior Citizens Club. Her husband, Walter Boguslawski, died in 2011. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Jake Sanders in 2017. Surviving are two sons, Walter F. Boguslawski and his wife, Suzanne, Camden, Maine and Joseph L. Boguslawski, Freehold; two daughters, Diane Buysse and husband Thomas, Freehold, and Charlotte Boguslawski and husband Douglas Haviland, Barnegat; a stepson, Michael Sanders and wife Mary, Kuna, Idaho; three sisters, Julia Lawson, Ann Pasqua, and Clara Clancy; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Perrineville.
