Obituary of Rosalina Fontanez

Rosalina Fontanez, 75, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully early morning on February 28, 2018 at Bartley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Jackson Township. Rosalina was born and raised in New York City and had resided in Freehold Township since 1972. A devout Catholic throughout her life, she was a communicant of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township where she volunteered for many church activities. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Raul Fontanez; her daughter and son-in-law, Marguerite Fontanez and James J. Bracelin; and her two brothers, Angel and Wilfredo Rodriguez. In remembrance and celebration of Rosalina's life, the family will be receiving visitors at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the MSA Coalition (www.multiplesystematrophy.org/donatenow) would be appreciated.
