Dear titi Rosie, you will surely be missed. Thank you for always making me feel loved. I could always count on you to remember every single one of my (and my husband's!) birthdays and anniversaries. Although distance separated us, you made it a point to be there at special events in my life. You were a great friend to my mom and the sweetest aunt. I am glad that you are no longer a prisoner of your illness. Please say hello to mom, to abuela Nelly, and to abuelo Gelo. As it was your wish to find a cure for MSA, I have made a contribution to the MSA coalition. To cousin Marguerite and tio Raul, I am sorry that I won't be able to attend the visitation. All my love to you. I will be praying for strength and guidance through this difficult time. -Ivette (Rodriguez) Yoder

The below was written by my cousin, Anthony, the day that my Mom passed away. It brought me to tears: The world lost a wonderful woman today. One I regretfully wasn’t able to visit before her time came at 3am this morning. Aunt Rosie, I’ll never forget how excited me and my younger brother would be as children when you and Raul would visit. I can’t think of a single time you weren’t smiling or had this beautiful vibe with you that made others feel warm and happy around you. I’ll never forget how you always thought of us kids and brought cookies with you for the bunch of us, and even still when we were adults and moved out I found it so loving that you still brought a tray of those lovely cookies to my parents house and asked that my parents make sure we get them. I know I’m not one who prays to the Heavens, but God is with her. I know she’s in his kingdom now and being welcomed with open arms by her relatives who are already there. Rest In Peace, Rosalina.

Rosie, my long time faithful friend of 55 years, you will b dearly missed. Am glad I have so many memories to reflect on, both funny and sad. Will be forever grateful for your strength ánd belief in me and our spiritual growth and for your dad saving mine, which led to this journey of friendship. Your influence and gentle/quiet guidance (like having me join the girl scouts when I thought that was not cool :-)), helped lead me in the right path. I enjoyed our talks and plans of a reunion with friends from the past. I guess it will now take place in heaven where you are reunited with you parents, friend (carmen gloria) and loved ones. You are gone, but will not be forgotten. Raul, Margarite, my thoughts and prayers are with you on this journey of pain and deep loss. Thank you both for sharing her with all who came to know her. The Lord's love and grace be with at this time. Rosie, forever my friend on earth, forever in heaven! Love, Aggie

Roselina was my special Angel on earth. I don’t know anyone more honest then Rosalina. I know she’s an Angel in Heaven I will miss our conversations. She was extremely selfless. No one is a better mother n wife then she was. Her whole life was her daughters. They always came first.. In all the years that I’ve know her, she never forgot my birthday and that is something I’ll never forget. Omg I will cherish her for the rest of my life n pray that she continues being my Angel!! Dear Roselina I hope we meet again, although I don’t know if I’m worthy enough to be in a place with you. You’ll always be in my heart!! Suffer no more my sweet Friend, love you so much!! May you forever RIP, Illie.
