Aunt Jerry was such a kind and thoughtful person. Some of my best childhood Christmas memories were made by Aunt Jerry. I remember the homemade cookies in the gold tins that she would bring to us on Christmas eve - delicious. My sister and I would get up in the middle of the night "to use the bathroom" and steal a cookie or two. I also remember the presents she would bring us - not because of the gift itself but because of the beautiful packaging. She always put little bells and special touches to her wrapping. Then in summer time, when she would come and get us LaPelusa kids to spend a weekend at your home, that was like Heaven to us - to run around barefoot and swim and play. And she always made sweet treats like the homemade ice cream sandwiches with her homemade brownies. Last time I saw Aunt Jerry, I reminded her of those ice cream sandwiches and she said "I don't remember that honey, but they sure sound good". Yes, they were! Those were the good 'ol days. RIP Aunt Gerry. You will be missed and always fondly remembered. Kim LaPelusa Kempton

Mike, Teresa and Sal. I was very sad to hear of Aunt Geri's passing. Loved her so! Such a caring, loving, sweet lady. And fun!! Still remember what fun it was when you all would come for visits when we were kids. My mother-in-law suffered from Alzheimer's for many years so I know the heartache you all have been through. Focus on the good years and wonderful memories with her, I know you've had many! She will be sadly missed. Love to all of you .... Barb (Whitaker) Haskins
