Irene Rooney Short shared the passing of Pat Rooney with me. I am a cousin and my grandfather was Thomas Rooney, son of Michael and Mary White Rooney. I am the same age as Irene Rooney Short and grew up in Freehold area. Have been back many times although I have lived in CA since the mid 70's. My condolences to all the family.
