Obituary of Shaminka C. Rivera

Shaminka C. Rivera, age 42, of Toms River, departed this life on May 4, 2017. Shaminka was born in Freehold Township. She worked for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Freehold for 22 years. Surviving are her husband, Eugenio Rivera, Jr.; two sons, Jadaire and David Rivera; a daughter, Jalissa Rivera; a grandson, Aiden O’Neil; her mother, Patricia Barr; a brother, Shaun Daniel and a nephew, Jalen Daniel. The viewing will be held at Jesus Harvest Time Ministries, 404 Freehold Road, Jackson Township on Friday, May 12th, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 am followed by the interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Route 537, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements.
