Obituary of Brother Patrick Higgins

Brother Patrick Higgins, F.S.C., 89, of Lincroft died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at De La Salle Hall, Lincroft. He was born in New York City and received the Holy Habit of the Christian Brothers on September 7, 1945. He earned a Master of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Theology, both from Manhattan College. Brother Patrick’s assignments included La Salle School, Albany, N.Y., Lincoln Hall, Lincolndale, N.Y., Good Shepherd School, Yonkers, N.Y., St. John’s School, Bronx, N.Y., La Salle Academy, New York City, De La Salle Collegiate, Warren, Michigan, Christian Brothers Academy, Albany, N.Y., and Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft. The viewing will be held at Christian Brothers Academy, Alumni Hall, 850 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Alumni Hall at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.
