Brother James was my 7th & 8th grade teacher at Sacred Heart Highbridge in 1954/55. At the time I wasn't aware and appreciative of how very fortunate and lucky I was to have been in his presence. As the years passed I became more and more aware and appreciative of that fact - He had been the holiest man I ever met. Forty years later, I had the great opportunity of telling him so in person and we continued that conversation until the month before his all-too tragic and untimely death.
