Obituary of Lydia Ringel
Lydia Ringel, 97, of Manalapan Township died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. Ringel was born Schoenlanke, Germany and had resided in the Covered Bridge section of Manalapan Township.
Mrs. Ringel was a Holocaust survivor.
She was a seamstress for Brooks of New Brunswick, New Brunswick before her retirement.
Her husband, Richard Ringel, died in 1985.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, George and Candy Ringel, Manalapan Township; a granddaughter, Jaime Ringel and her fiancé Barry Weinberg; a grandson, Jared and his wife Jeri Ringel; and a great grandson, Max Ringel.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Gill Lane, Iselin on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. Shiva will be observed at the home of her son and daughter-in-law. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
