Plase accept my sincere condolences on the recentloss of your mother. My father, Fred Platchek, left Berlin and went to Shanghai with your mother and her sister Lucy. I vaguely remember your parents, aunt, uncle, and cousin,as well as you,from VERY early days in Chicago. Your mother lived long and well, leaving a surviver's legacy with her loving family.
