Hi Paul, Going back a long way, you were a math tutor for me. Going back further, your mom was my third grade teacher. I am sure that in some way kids like me and Catriona Logan made her retirement even sweeter--as I may have put a tact on her chair while I was her student. Though I may have caused her misery, as a teacher she had faith that I could be a better reader and pushed me ahead in the reading groups. This gave me the confidence to be a part of the "smart" kids and subsequently gave me the foundation of confidence that allowed me to purse and met my educational goals at the graduate school level. I remember her as strict but forthright and we were never afraid to go to her with questions. My deepest sympathy in the loss of a great teacher and equally wonderful mother.
