I am so saddened to hear of Joan's sudden and untimely death. It was such a shock. I first remember her back in the Rochelle Park Days when I would see her on Chestnut Street as a dear friend of my late cousin, Carol Hayden Barry and another dear mutual friend, Maureen Norton Wolferse. During the late 60's we spent quite a bit of time together, having laughs and fun in the 'good old days'. But my fondest memories of Joan are more recent. Her kindness to me when my mother passed away in 2008 was most touching when she wrote me the most beautiful letter of condolence, and again when Carol became ill and passed away just last October. Joan was a beautiful, sensitive and caring person who was really there for many, including my cousin. I am so sorry for your family's loss and mourn her with you. The world will be a much sadder -- and quieter place without her but I know Heaven will sure be hoppin' with reunion! May God rest her loving soul in peace. With deepest sympathy, Bunny
