Obituary of Ernestina DeJesus

Ernestina “Titi” DeJesus, 76, of Freehold passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Wedgewood Gardens. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she lived in the Freehold area for over 40 years. Mrs. DeJesus was an assembler for Peerless Tube Products, Freehold. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Guillermo DeJesus in 1993; and her daughter, Maritza Flores in 1987. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jose Diego and Marta Flores, Freehold; a brother, Manuel Rivera, Bronx, New York; two sisters, Lucelenia and Iluminada Rivera, both of Arecibo, Puerto Rico; four grandchildren, LizBeth and Leticia Ortiz, and Diego and Johnny Flores; and five great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
