Obituary of Mozella Brown

Mozella Brown, 63, of Freehold Township died February 20, 2016 at home. She was born in Putman County, Florida. She was known as the “Cake Lady with a big smile and warm heart.” Mozella was an evangelist who spread the word of God throughout the community with love, kindness and patience. She was predeceased by her husband, Freddie Lee Brown and two daughters, Brenda and Deborah. Surviving are a daughter, Ida Brown-McEntyre; her mother, Bertha Crumedy; a brother, Dan Swinton; two sisters, Mary McCray and Beulah Warren; and six grandchildren, Yvonna, Kaylah, Dae’Sean, Trent, Jamal, and Dae’Mien. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.
