Obituary of Frank Schembri
Frank Schembri, 88, of Freehold Township died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mr. Schembri was born in New York City and had resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Carteret before moving to Freehold Township in 1991.
He was a draftsman for Butler Design, Totowa before his retirement in 1985.
Mr. Schembri was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold.
He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Mary Pavia Schembri.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Joann Grasso Schembri; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Joseph Szczecina and Camille and Peter Szczecina; a brother, Charles Schembri; and two grandchildren who were his biggest joy, Justin and Angela.
Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
