Obituary of Colin Thomas Lancaster

Colin Thomas Lancaster, 83, of Freehold died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Capital Heath System, Trenton, of a stroke. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on July 15, 1928 and moved to Wales, Massachusetts at an early age. He came to New Jersey in 1949 to attend Westminster Choir College, Princeton. He was self-employed for most of his career working in the construction industry. He married Mary Kennedy in 1986 and moved to Freehold. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Freehold. Surviving are three sons, Wayne Lancaster, Freehold, Kim Lancaster, New Hope, Penn., and Kevin Lancaster, Clark, Maryland; a daughter, Sharon Roberts, Athens, Georgia: 10 grandchildren: and four great grandchildren. Graveside memorial services will be held next spring. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
