Obituary of Shirley Roche

Shirley Roche, 76, of Freehold Township died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at home. Born in Lodi, she moved to Freehold Township 46 years ago. She was the owner and operator of Adam and Eve Hair Design, Freehold Township for 30 years, retiring in 2001. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. Her husband, Thomas E. Roche, died in 2002. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Scot and Denise Roche, Jackson Township; three grandsons, Valentino, Michael and Thomas Roche; a brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Carol Melango, Neptune Township; a nephew, Mark Melango and his wife, Cindy, and a niece, Kim Melango. In addition to her family, Shirley was survived by many dear friends. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow at the Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Donations in her memory to the Monmouth County S.P.C.A., 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
