Obituary of Jeanne M. Garner

Jeanne M. Garner, 83, of Lakewood died Monday, November 7, 2011 at home. Mrs. Garner was born in Staten Island, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold and Robertsville before moving to Lakewood 11 years ago. Mrs. Garner was a former member of the Robertsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a fun loving, sweet, and dear person who enjoyed music and dancing. Her son, Leland Garner, died in 1992. She was also predeceased by her father, Louie Trivisone; mother, Marian Raimondo; brother, Joseph Trivisone; and sister, Phyllis DiSabatino. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Lester Lockwood, Freehold Township; and two grandchildren, Lelan and Lacey Lockwood. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A time of sharing and remembrance will be held at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to her granddaughter’s fund, Lelan and Lacey Lockwood Love Education Fund, (http://www.familiesinvietnam.org/love_education_fund.shtml or Families In Vietnam Love Education Fund, 1505 Encino Drive, Leander, Texas 87641) would be appreciated.
