Obituary of Charles H. Schade
Mr. Charles Schade of Manalapan passed away on his 98th birthday November 15, 2011 at the Care One Unit of the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, NJ after a brief illness. He was born in Bronx, NY on November 15, 1913.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Schade was Assistant Vice President at Citibank. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was a former member of the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad.
Mr. Schade is survived by daughter Brenda Bradshaw, her husband Greg and daughter Barbara Straley and her husband Carl. He is also survived by his grandchildren Logan Bradshaw, Renee Chesire, and Reo Chesire and his wife Alicen.; three great-grandchildren Alexa Chesire, Kanisha and Annalise Chesire. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor in 2000 and his son Charles Jr. in 1987. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 18th from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and 7p.m. to 9p.m. at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, NJ. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 19th at the Old Tennent Cemetery Manalapan, NJ.
