Obituary of Wayne A. Salerno

Wayne A. Salerno, 66, of Englishtown died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Centra State Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Newark, he lived in Jamesburg prior to moving to Englishtown two years ago. Mr. Salerno served in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver for John Holmes Trucking, Monroe, for ten years retiring 1 year ago. Surviving are his wife, Shirley; a son, Wayne A Salerno Jr., Roselle Park; a daughter, Wendy Cook , Ft. Pierce, Florida; four brothers, Anthony, Joseph, George and David Salerno; three sisters, Millie LaPino, Terry Pohl, and Tommie Castiglione; four grandchildren, Brandy Lee Cook, Alexandria Cook, Cassandra Cook and Wayne A. Salerno and two close friends Redneck and Tramp. Relatives and friends may call at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
