Obituary of Marie Helen Gentile

Marie Helen Gentile, 61, of Manalapan Township died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick after a two year battle with ovarian cancer. Mrs. Gentile was born in Talbot County, Maryland, raised in Jamesburg, and had resided in the Englishtown-Manalapan area for over 30 years. Marie loved children and was a child care provider. She was a loving and wonderful mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marie was a member and supporter of Teal Wings of Hope. She was predeceased by her father, Edward John McSeaman. Surviving are two sons, Anthony and Paul Gentile; a daughter, Heather Demuro and her husband Louis; her former husband, Anthony Gentile; her companion Donald Slusher; her mother, Libby McSeaman; her stepfather, Oliver Mitchell; a brother, Edward McSeaman; a sister, Peggy Jutting; and two grandchildren, Samantha and MacKenzie. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
