Obituary of Maura McPaul Thompson

Maura McPaul Thompson, 48, of Jackson Township died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Cancer Treatment Center of America, Philadelphia, Penn. She was born in Elizabeth. Maura was a loving and devoted mother and active with her children at Jackson Dance Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Bridget McPaul. Surviving are her husband, Alan Thompson; a son, Patrick Thompson; three daughters, Tara, Kerri, and Bridget Thompson; a brother, Philip McPaul; and a grandchild, Ryan Kelley. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, Route 520, Marlboro on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Jude Children Hospital or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
