Obituary of Jane Lee Bellamy

Jane Lee Bellamy, 80, of Freehold, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Jane was born in Charlotte, N.C. and raised in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Morganville many years ago. She most recently resided in Freehold, where she has lived the past fifteen years. Jane retired from Marlboro Library in 2002, where she worked as a custodian for approximately ten years. Jane was predeceased by her mother, Creola Lee, and father, William Lee Pharr, both of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Rebecca Lee Howard of Freehold; brother William Lee of CA; a son-in-law Kenny Haskins of Lakewood, and her niece Carol R. Washington Hinsdale, NH (January 12, 2012). Surviving are her daughters: Althea Haskins of Lakewood and Leola Harris and spouse Melvin Finley Jr. of Freehold, her son Lasalle Harris of Mobile, AL; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; sisters Hattie Lee and Mary Winkler both of Jacksonville, FL and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service is to be held on Sunday, January 22, from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold.
