Obituary of Shirley A. Nicastro

Shirley A. Nicastro, 71, of Freehold died peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, January 28, 2012. She was born in New Brunswick and had resided in Freehold for the past 42 years. Surviving are three daughters, Francine Yamello and her husband Bob, Sherry Tyrrell and her husband John, and Michele Nicastro; a son, Thomas Nicastro, Jr. and his wife Judith; her father, Harry Pullen; her mother, Audrey Skerlak; a brother, Michael Skerlak; and four grandsons, Michael Thoma, Jake Tyrrell, T.J. Nicastro, and John Nicastro. Private services will be held under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
