Obituary of Angelo Joseph Picciano

Angelo Joseph Picciano, 66 of The Villages, Howell Township, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at home. Born in Long Branch, he lived in Monroe Township prior to moving to Howell Township four years ago. Mr. Picciano was the owner of Angelo’s Greenhouses, Monroe Township. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. Mr. Picciano was a member and past commander of American Legion Post No. 177, Old Bridge. He was also a former member of the V.F.W. Post No. 7508, Old Bridge. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph Picciano, in 2003. Surviving are his wife, Carol Dolan Picciano; and a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Anthony Tomaro, Jamesburg. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
