Obituary of Anna C. Swiatek

Anna C. Swiatek, 101, of Freehold Township died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Bartley Healthcare Center, Jackson Township. Mrs. Swiatek was born in Holyoke, Mass. and had resided in Milltown for 25 years and in Shrewsbury before moving to Freehold Township. She was employed at IT&T, Clifton for over 20 years before her retirement. Mrs. Swiatek was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a former communicant of St. James R.C. Church, Red Bank. Her husband, Peter Paul Swiatek died in 1971. She was also predeceased by a son, Walter P. Swiatek and a daughter, Jean Stydocker. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and William Hurd, Freehold Township; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
