Obituary of Rose Fortunato Rappa

Rose Fortunato Rappa, 88, of Old Bridge died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Madison Center, Old Bridge. Mrs. Rappa was born in Newark and had resided in Belleville and the Morganville section of Marlboro Township before moving to Old Bridge. She was a former secretary of the St. Joseph’s Senior Citizens Organization, Keyport. Surviving are two daughters, Diane Rappa, Freehold and Celeste Rappa, Old Bridge; a sister, Lucy Stellatella, Toms River; a grandchild, Jeffrey Blacker and his wife Nicole; and two great grandchildren, Jaidyn and Chase Blacker. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Camp Merry Heart, 21 O’Brien Road, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
