Obituary of A. Elizabeth Betty Dorn

A. Elizabeth “Betty” Dorn, of Freehold Township died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Applewood Estates Healthcare Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Dorn was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. She was a registered nurse in Canada and New York City before going to Fitkin Hospital; now known as Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. Surviving are her husband, Charles Dorn; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lisa Dorn, Honesdale, Pennsylvania; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Thomas Vairette, Howell Township; two grandchildren, Peter and Elizabeth Dorn; and several nieces and nephews in Canada. Private services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. Memorial donations to the Monmouth County SPCA, PO Box 93, Eatontown. NJ 07724 would be appreciated.
